WHAT ATTENDEES SAY
- “I'm living the dream. I’m here tonight and it doesn’t seem real because I’ve been wanting to come to The Gathering since I knew about ten years ago but I never made it happen. Now here we are and there’s real people. This is a dream come true for me.” – Belinda
- “I think the biggest benefit to coming to The Gathering is meeting other RETA members and hearing their stories and sharing your story with them… where they’ve bought, where they live, what they plan to do with their properties… it’s just great to be able to contact these people personally and understand that we as RETA members come from such a wide demographic, it’s just fantastic.” – Audrey
- “The Gathering is super. We just love it. This is our first Gathering, we met some great people and had an absolutely fabulous time and got a lot of good information we wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else.” – Linda and Tom
THE VENUE: Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort
The Gathering 2025 will be hosted at the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort.
The five-star, ultra-luxurious resort sits right on the beach. So it's the perfect venue for mixing business and pleasure. Quickly go from busily taking notes in the conference room, to toes in the sand and a cold drink in hand.
And with its central location, the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort is easy to get to from anywhere in the city.
As well as being the venue for the conference, we'll have our welcome cocktail, networking lunches, and Farewell Dinner at the Hyatt.
THE SCHEDULE
As we get closer to the event, we will send you a detailed schedule, showing speaker names, topics, and times. This is the preliminary schedule:
Thursday, February 20, 2025:Â 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm:
Registration at the Grand Hyatt; followed by the Welcome Cocktail at the Grand Hyatt at 6:30 pm. The Welcome Cocktail is your first chance to meet myself and other speakers, and your fellow RETA members, in a relaxed and social setting.
There’ll be complimentary drinks, tacos, and music.
And if you’re in the mood to keep the party going when things wind up, Playa’s bustling Fifth Avenue is only a stroll away.
Every Gathering starts with a Welcome Cocktail Party, where you can meet myself, other speakers, fellow members, and just have a good time.
Meeting fellow RETA members is one of the biggest reasons to attend The Gathering…
Your fellow members have walked a mile in your shoes and can answer your burning questions better than anyone else.
They are all smart and successful people…
Top of their field doctors, executives, entrepreneurs…
But also travelers, adventurers, investors…
And they’re attending The Gathering because they “get it”…
Real estate’s amazing potential to create life-changing fortunes and preserve wealth for generations.
That’s why meeting members is always a big highlight for me.
Even if this is your first time attending The Gathering, you’ll be given a warm welcome and make new friends with interesting people fast.
It’s like a big family reunion.
Friday, February 21, 2025: 09:00 am:
Registration at the Grand Hyatt, followed by speaking sessions at 10am and a group lunch at 12 noon.
I hope you didn’t stay up too late because we start early today…
After opening remarks from myself and Margaret I’ll give my “State of the Union Address” and then invite guest speakers to the stage.
This year’s speaker line-up is as impressive as ever.
The main theme of the day will be hearing about the next big investment opportunities from around the world.
After an intensive morning session we’ll break for a group lunch which is included at no extra charge for all attendees.
In the afternoon you’ll have a choice…
You can speak to an expert and learn more about a specific opportunity in a small group breakout… even reserve a one-on-one…
Or you can take a Riviera Maya field trip and visit communities RETA members have a chance to invest in.
Dinner on Day 2 is at your leisure. So, seek out fellow attendees and make plans. You essentially have unlimited variety of food on Fifth Avenue…
Though my top tip is to visit Calle 38, it’s a bit more peaceful and laidback and there’s a handful of amazing restaurants there most tourists don’t know about.
Saturday, February 22, 2025: 10:00am:
We have speaking sessions at the Grand Hyatt followed by a group lunch at 12 noon. At 6.30 pm, we have a farewell dinner and drinks at the Hyatt
Our final day starts in the hotel’s conference room again, where you’ll hear from more expert speakers.
Then we’ll break for a group lunch (included at no extra cost because you’re attending The Gathering 2025). Again, in the afternoon, you can meet our experts one on one or take a field trip.
Finally, we’ll regroup back at the Grand Hyatt for the Farewell Dinner… You can talk over the opportunities you’ve learned about with fellow attendees, swap phone numbers and enjoy the hearty feast.
